A team of technologists at the Google Creative Lab partnered with blind runner Thomas Panek to create an AI-powered guidance system that would allow him to navigate a running path on his own.

I conducted many of the interviews you see in the film and edited the full piece over a period of several months, pulling together a coherent story from archival hackathon event coverage, voiceover, and production footage captured specifically for this film.

I’m super proud of the emotion that comes through in this piece. Mostly, I feel lucky to be part of such an inpsiring project and incredible team.
